Hey, I’m Jessica. What I’m doing today wasn’t in my original plan—but it turned out to be exactly the thing I’d been praying for.

At 21, I launched a pet care business with nothing but passion, grit and a different vision than anyone else around me. After bouncing through 15 jobs in five years, I had finally found my calling—one I’ve now run successfully for over a decade, on my own terms. All without having another person telling me what I could or couldn't do with my time, how much I could work, or earn!

While there are so many things I can rave on about that business and industry, I began to realize that it was starting to constrain me like a traditional job. But here’s the thing—employees can call in sick and still get paid. I couldn’t. If I didn’t show up, the money didn’t either. I started to wonder, and worry, what would happen to my income if something happened, preventing me from showing up long term. Not only that, I wanted to take more time off to visit family (without the giant loss of income) and enjoy my hobbies without constantly worrying about "what if I get hurt?"

With the rising costs of living, I was finding myself in a difficult position. I had already gained time freedom... giving that up was not something I was willing to do. I didn't want to add more clients, work more hours, or add days to my schedule. Nor did I want to give up what I had built all on my own. I knew there had to be a better way. So I held out. I knew the answer wouldn’t be hustling harder but something smarter. Then I witnessed a dear friend of mine leave her law enforcement career to do this. That caught my attention. 🙌

Everyone thought I was dumb, saying things like " You have a successful business already, just get more clients" when I told them I was going to make money online, saying things to try and get me to question my life's decisions...

I ignored EVERYONE! Just like before. 😅✌️

Today, I've kept the hands-on business I’ve always loved, but now I also support others through a quieter kind of work—sharing a product I trust and helping people create income without the burnout that so often comes with doing it all alone.

Moral of the story, listen to people who have done it, not to people who assume they could do it better but never make moves... No one became a pro football player criticizing how to play while sitting on the couch!🤷‍♂️.
